Your photos
When you open a photo, the file is read by your own browser. EXIF metadata is parsed locally, labels are drawn on a canvas element on your device, and the exported JPEG is produced by your browser and saved straight to your downloads. No image data is transmitted to a server, and no copy is retained anywhere.
Children's birth dates
Birth dates you register for age badges are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you used. They are never transmitted. Clearing your browser data, or removing each child in the app, deletes them permanently.
Accounts
There are no accounts. We do not ask for an email address or any personal details.
Analytics and cookies
The site may collect aggregate, anonymous page-view statistics to understand which guides are useful. This never includes your photos, their metadata, or anything you type into the labeler. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request, as with any hosted asset. The site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs.
Your original files
Labeling never modifies the file you opened. The labeled image is always a new export; your original photo and its metadata remain untouched.
